South Surrey/White Rock Writing classes and consultations Consultations with Surrey's Poet Laureate Renée Sarojini Saklikar provides consultations for no charge, some at the South Surrey Recreation and Arts Centre, 14601 - 20 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Keep on Writing Group "Join our group of aspiring writers to discuss and improve your writing. Share your readings and get to know other local authors." Surrey Writing classes Kwantlen Polytechnic University Creative Writing Courses Kwantlen accepts part-time students, as well as those wishing credit for a degree. Program info here. Fees: Each 3-credit course is about $438; a degree is 120 credits or about $17,500. Seniors can apply to have the tuition for one semester refunded. Fee info here. Writers Circle for Adults Led by librarian and author Alan Woo, “Come to be encouraged and have your imagination challenged... Surrey International Writers Conference The 25th annual conference in October 2017 sold out! Writing extravaganza with so much to offer. At Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, 15269 - 104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Fees ranged from $599-649 for the full conference, depending on when registered. Reduced fees for single days.
